A Legacy of Compassion : Late N V Lakshmi

N V Lakshmi
N V Lakshmi
Lakshmi had a profound passion for helping underprivileged children. She believed that education is the light of life and dedicated herself to supporting the needy with school fees, books, and uniforms. With her family’s unwavering support, she extended her help to many individuals she encountered, always striving to make a broader impact.
To amplify her efforts, she became a Rotarian at The Rotary Club of Secunderabad – Cantonment. Her dedication led her to collaborate with several NGOs, illuminating the lives of many underprivileged individuals through her invaluable contributions.
Tragically, Late N.V. Lakshmi passed away at the young age of 52 on June 7, 2011, due to a brain hemorrhage. Honoring her wish to donate her organs, her family ensured that her heart, liver, kidneys, and eyes were donated through the MOHAN Foundation. In her passing, she gave a new lease on life to six others, exemplifying that “GIVING” truly means “LIVING.”
Inspired by her values and ethos of simplicity and purpose, her family has decided to continue her exemplary work. They have established the N.V. Lakshmi Foundation, a foundation primarily focused on educating poor and needy children, ensuring that her legacy of compassion and generosity lives on.
